The site that Huckleberry is moving into is a former Starbucks Coffee space that is 1,300 square feet. Co-founder of the business Ken Goedman told Business Den that this is part of a larger expansion effort, with hopes to grow to 10 or 15 stores.
Huckleberry Roasters’ six other locations are in Wheat Ridge, the Baker and Sunnyside neighborhoods, on Tennyson, and at the Dairy Block in LoDo. The chain serves coffee, breakfast burritos, pastries, and toast.
The brand started in 2011 and is sold in cafes, eateries, and breweries nationwide. It has a website for customers to purchase and have 2-pound and 5-pound bags of whole-bean coffee shipped to them.
