The Clayworks dynamic mixed-use district spans 12.4 acres and will include 1.2 million square feet of residential, retail, hotel, and office space. Three new restaurants will be part of the area, on the ground floor of a new four-story CoorsTek headquarters building.

Construction is expected to take approximately two years. The first phase of the project, which kicked off this week, involves the demolition of former industrial buildings to make way for the development.

There are no details available yet about confirmed tenants for Clayworks. The project is led by AC Development, a Golden-based real estate development firm, in collaboration with the Coors family.
