Shaker is also responsible for developing Denver’s Broadway Market and The Golden Mill in Golden. “Westminster’s downtown transformation is really exciting,” said Mark Shaker in a recent press release, about his new development. “I’ve been talking with the city for years about joining. So, when I saw other great operators, like Tattered Cover and Tap & Burger, I knew it would be a great opportunity.”

This new food hall is set to be 12,000-square-feet and will feature a street-art theme with New York City in mind as inspiration. ““It’s going to feel like a bunch of New York City alleys,” said Shaker, all merging into one grand food hall in Colorado instead of The Big Apple.

Westminster is getting a makeover with this new food hall and other businesses opening. The Austin-based dine-in movie theater sensation Alamo Drafthouse has already opened. Culinary Creative‘s Tap & Burger has also opened its doors. An Origin Hotel, Tattered Cover Bookstore and two apartment complexes are also in the works for the downtown region.
