Rosso Pomodoro, a celebrated Neapolitan pizza chain from Italy, has announced that its second U.S. store will be in Greenwood Village. A recent press release states that the company is working on a location at 8575 E Arapahoe Rd.
The restaurant will welcome patrons later this summer, marking another milestone in the brand’s state-side expansion. It will occupy a 1,314-square-foot space (formerly home to Pizzeria Locale) for which the business has signed a 60-month lease with renewal options.
Rosso Pomodoro’s Greenwood Village outpost will follow the debut of the company’s first U.S. standalone restaurant, which opened recently in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood and is holding a grand opening celebration next week.
“Rosso Pomodoro is thrilled to unveil our authentic Neapolitan pizzas in Denver, Colorado and bring the authentic taste of Naples to the heart of America. Crafted with reverence for tradition, each pie is a masterpiece, born from meticulously proofed dough and adorned with the finest Italian ingredients, handmade by trained pizziolas. We’re excited to have the Centennial State join us in savoring the true essence of Italian culture, one slice at a time,” the company tells What Now Denver.
Founded in Naples in 1998, Rosso Pomodoro is renowned for its dedication to traditional Neapolitan pizza recipes, with meticulously proofed dough and premium Italian ingredients, baked in a 900-degree oven for 90 seconds. The chain also serves antipasti, bruschettas, charcuterie plates, salads, and classic Italian desserts like tiramisù and cannolis.
