Operated by Daryl and Katelyn Woodward and Shane Yingtavorn, the concept will feature a menu including Lumpia, Filipino BBQ Skewers, Adobo, Kare Kare, and Halo Halo, among others. The company tells What Now Denver they expect to be approved for a liquor license by the end of the year, and plan to serve local and Filipino beers.

The 1,400-square-foot space, which accommodates around 30 people, has been undergoing remodeling. It was previously occupied by You-Ka Cafe and Bayanihan Cafe, other Filipino establishments, and Sarap! aims to continue this tradition with new ownership and recipes.

“Sarap means delicious in Tagalog, the national language of the Philippines. Our mission is to share amazing Filipino flavors with our community and leave everyone saying “Sarap!” the company explained. “Sarap! prides itself in its incredible food quality and friendly demeanor. When you walk into our doors, you’re family. And we feed our family well!”
