Daddy’s Chicken Shack, a locally owned and operated fast-casual chicken restaurant and franchise concept, announced that it will open its first Colorado location in Littleton, CO., on December 14, 2023.
Owned and operated by the Denver-based entrepreneur and founder of RE/MAX, Dave Liniger, Daddy’s Chicken Shack will be hosting a grand opening event that is open to the public on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Located at 7330 S. Broadway, Littleton, CO 80122, the Daddy’s Chicken Shack grand opening event will feature complimentary food samples and the first 50 people at the event will receive “Free Chicken For A Year” and swag bags that include a T-shirt, water bottle and a drink koozie. The grand opening celebration will continue through Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Daddy’s Chicken Shack with exclusive promotions, social media giveaways, and on-site activities.
During its grand opening weekend, Daddy’s Chicken Shack will be donating 10% of all proceeds to local organizations, including:
- Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1, the largest and oldest war nonprofit veterans service organization in the U.S., is dedicated to financial assistance, military advocacy, and community service programs.
- MaxFund Adoption Center, a Denver-based nonprofit, no-kill shelter established in 1988.
- Colorado Veterans Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps veterans create economic vitality through career advancement and entrepreneurship.
Complimentary food samples will also be served during the restaurant’s regular hours of operation during the grand opening weekend December 14-17, 2023 from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. The grand opening events are free to attend.
Launched in 2018 in Pasadena, Calif., by a husband-and-wife duo, Pace Webb and Chris Georgalas, Daddy’s Chicken Shack was launched with the mission to be a neighborhood-style fried chicken cult favorite.
Inspired by Webb’s husband’s Japanese heritage, the Daddy’s Chicken Shack menu features a unique twist to traditional Southern style fried chicken dishes, such as its Big Daddy sandwich comprised of napa slaw and sriracha mayo, while the Spicy Daddy features sambal, cilantro, and ginger mayo. For dessert, the restaurant offers salted miso chocolate chip cookies, baked fresh each day.
Another unique menu item is its Lil’ Daddy Flight, which is a “chicken sandwich tasting flight” with three chick-sized slider versions of its top-selling sandwiches: Big Daddy, Spicy Daddy, and All American Daddy. Each piece of chicken served at Daddy’s Chicken Shack is brined in buttermilk overnight and double dredged in a handcrafted, custom-made spice blend with seven proprietary herbs. In addition, the Littleton menu features Southwestern-inspired dishes, such as its 303 Daddy, featuring zesty green chile sauce made from flame-roasted Hatch Valley Green Chile peppers native to the Southwest, jalapeno ranch, bacon and a spicy chicken rub topped with its signature Napa Slaw served on a brioche bun. The menu also includes healthier options, such as its Grilled Chicken Nashville Daddy and Sunshine Salad featuring little gem lettuce, kale, slaw, sriracha and mint topped with grilled chicken nuggets and a creamy cilantro lime dressing. Daddy’s Chicken Shack also offers 10 ‘Shack-crafted’ specialty sauces, such as its Ginger Mayo, Jalapeno Ranch and Remoulade.
To help grow Daddy’s Chicken Shack and make Webb’s franchising vision a reality, Dave Liniger, the owner and founder of RE/MAX, purchased Daddy’s Chicken Shack in April 2023. Liniger’s Denver-based, family-owned and operated private equity business, Area 15 Ventures, acquired Daddy’s Chicken Shack with full ownership in April 2023 to take Daddy’s Chicken Shack national. The Daddy’s Chicken Shack in Littleton marks the second franchise location Under Area 15 Ventures’ leadership and the concept’s first location in Colorado.

The Littleton location will be the fourth Daddy’s Chicken Shack location in the U.S. with 160 franchise locations planned to open by the end of 2024, including 20 in Colorado.
