Sweetgreen will open its fifth Colorado based restaurant on Tuesday, July 18th In the Vistas at Park Meadows (8423 Park Meadows Center Drive E160).

For every meal sold on opening day, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to Backpack Society to nourish families in Douglas County experiencing food insecurity. Backpack Society is dedicated to removing food insecurity as an obstacle for children so that they can grow, learn and thrive.

To celebrate opening day, Sweetgreen will host a ribbon cutting ceremony with The Northwest Douglas County Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development Corporation at 10:15am. Sweetgreen will also host an opening week party from 10:30am-2pm on Saturday, July 22nd, featuring live music by Electric Lady, kombucha tastings with Rowdy Mermaid, build-your-own floral bar by Pickletown Flower Co, and sorbet by the Ice Cream Farm.

The 2,782 sq ft location will accommodate 24 diners inside and 14 diners outside on the restaurant’s patio. Store hours are 10:30am to 9:00pm daily. Sweetgreen has also commissioned local artist Kayla Arroy, to create a piece for the restaurant entitled “Sun Guide” which depicts how the sun shifts throughout the year, signaling the changing of seasons.
