Sweetgreen will open its sixth Denver based restaurant on Tuesday, September 5th in University Hills at 2770 S. Colorado Boulevard Suite L-110, Denver, CO 80222.
For every meal sold on opening day, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to the Market at Integrated Family Community Services to nourish those experiencing food insecurity in South Metro Denver. Together with their Market providing free groceries year-round, Integrated Family Community Services nourishes lives by providing essential services and community resources to help Coloradans achieve self-sufficiency.
To celebrate opening day, Sweetgreen will host a ribbon cutting ceremony with The South Metro Denver Chamber at 10:00am. From 10:30am-2pm, while supplies last, guests can enjoy in-store giveaways of Sweetgreen swag and goodies by local partners from the University Hills Farmers Market, including sweet treats by Danielle’s Delicious Bites, a coffee cart by Propagate Coffee, and a floral bar by Sand Florals, along with live music from Tim Ostdiek. Sweetgreen also partnered with Triboro, the Brooklyn based design duo of David Heasty and Stefanie Weigler, for a series of 12 posters that highlight the brand’s seasonal fruit and veggie offerings.
The 2,258 sq ft location will accommodate 22 diners inside and 16 diners outside on the restaurant’s patio. Store hours are 10:30am to 9:00pm daily.
