Cheba Hut’s Cap Hill location on 638 E Colfax Ave has submitted a zoning change application with the City for renovations. A representative involved in the project told What Now Denver Wednesday that the renovations will include a renovated patio if all goes to plan.

The Cap Hill location is operated by Elevated Huts Inc. owned by David Timmons (whose favorite Cheba Hut sub is the Secret Stash/FOCO Diesel.) Elevated Huts Inc. operates 18 other locations in Colorado, Nevada and Wisconsin.

The store hours for the Cheba Hut location in Cap Hill are 10 am to 12:00 am seven days a week. You can dine in-store or order for delivery with their motto, “if you’re high we’ll fly.” Apart from their specialty toasted subs their menu also features salads, munchies such as “garlic cheesy bread, pretzel nuggets, Bowl O’ Balls, Loaded Not’chos, hummas platters and more”, sweet treats and drinks they call “cottonmouth cures.”
