Permits show the Australian company is taking over the space at 1201 18th St. — part of its recent planned expansion into the United States.

“The lease is in the process of being assigned. The handover is slated for June 12. They will do a renovation and are aiming for an August 2023 opening,” CEO of Urban Putt Steve Fox told What Now Denver.

Documents show the business plans to do about half a million dollars worth of construction at the LoDo location and have a 27-hole course. The company passed a Denver Department of Public Health and Environment inspection on May 16.

A press release for Funlab, Holey Moley’s parent company, reveals that the Mile High City will have the first of three planned U.S. locations. Others are coming to Austin and San Francisco. Funlab recently acquired Urban Putt and will continue to keep its staff members on at the location.
