Bearded Brewer announced the grand opening of its new location at 1425 South Airport Road #100 in Longmont, Colorado. The grand opening celebration is set to take place on Saturday, November 18, bringing the community together in the spirit of beer and camaraderie.
Founded by Kirk and Alyssa Hearon, Bearded Brewer’s journey from its Omaha, Nebraska roots to Longmont, Colorado has been an eagerly anticipated one. Bearded Brewer opened its doors in Omaha in 2021, but their hearts have always been tied to the Longmont community. The decision to expand to Longmont was always the plan until Kirk’s job took him to Omaha. The decision to open in Longmont was greatly influenced by the strong bonds the Hearon family shares with the local community and their high school friend, Brandon Knudsen, who is also a partner in this venture.
Kirk Hearon, owner of Bearded Brewer, expresses the philosophy that sets them apart in a statement, “One of the unique things about Bearded Brewer is we don’t want to put ourselves in a category where we’re always offering the same thing. We like to be aggressive; we like to be experimental. We don’t have a goal of how many beers we’re going to make in a year – our goal is to make a great product and continue to be creative. Some of the more popular beers may stay around, but if I have 14 beers on tap, 10 will usually be new.”
Bearded Brewer has 18 beers on tap and the ability to brew on-site.
The owners, Kirk and Alyssa Hearon, along with their partners Brandon and Camrin Knudsen, owners of Ziggi’s Coffee, are excited to introduce Bearded Brewer to the Longmont market and showcase what they’re all about.
Bearded Brewer Artisan Ales invites everyone to join them in celebrating the grand opening on Saturday, November 18. Angry Hippie Tacos food truck will be serving up contemporary tacos at this event.
