After a successful expansion across Denver, Birdcall is bringing its all-natural crispy chicken lineup to Boulder. Birdcall opened its first Boulder location in the Pearl Street Whole Foods Market located at 2905 Pearl St, Boulder, CO on November 12th. A larger second location will open on November 22nd at 1675 29th St. Suite 1284, Boulder, CO. “Birdcall has become the destination for a chicken sandwich that you can feel good about here in Colorado – and nothing is more quintessentially Colorado than enjoying a high-quality meal with a Boulder beer in hand, overlooking the Flatirons,” said Peter John Newlin, Birdcall CEO in a statement. “We are excited to make friends and support the Boulder community, while serving up exceptionally tasty all-natural food that is accessible to all.”

Both locations will be open every day from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. The Twenty Ninth Street location will feature happy hour specials and an outdoor patio with views of the Flatirons and a mural from The Worst Crew . The Twenty Ninth Street location’s full-service bar will be their largest bar yet. Birdcall will serve hyperlocal beer on tap from Boulder County’s Upslope Brewing Company, Avery Brewing Co., Bootstrap Brewing Company, Four Noses Brewing Company and others. Birdcall sources all of its chicken from Colorado Native Foods, its fresh bread is baked daily at Aspen Baking Co., and its spices are developed by Denver’s The Spice Guy.

Birdcall was founded in 2016, offering 100-percent all-natural food. Inside its stores, guests order on an innovative high-tech kiosk system. Kiosks make it possible to fill orders in five minutes or less, decreasing overhead and allowing Birdcall to keep their prices affordable.

These stores will be the sixth and seventh Birdcall locations in Colorado. Birdcall is planning 10 or more locations in 2022, including Birdcall’s first out-of-state locations in Arizona and Texas, the first locations outside of Colorado.

As part of the Boulder location openings, Birdcall will donate a portion of sales to the Boulder Food Rescue, as part of the company’s 1% community giving program. In support of Birdcall and of the Boulder community, Whole Foods Market will also be making a $5,000 donation to support Boulder Food Rescue.

Colorado-based Birdcall opened its first location in Denver’s historic Five Points neighborhood in 2016, offering a new kind of fast-casual dining experience that includes fresh and natural ingredients.
