When reached for comment regarding the upcoming location, CloudKitchens said it had a “no press policy.”

Well what is a ghost kitchen? Is it a kitchen ghosts use? Is it an apparition of a dead kitchen manifesting in this realm? It’s really not as spooky as it sounds.

Ghost kitchens are a relatively new concept that have gained popularity with the current pandemic. For a fraction of a cost of owning and operating a brick-and-mortar restaurant, you can cook your “restaurant food” in a rental “ghost” kitchen, to then deliver to your customers through one of the many third-party delivery apps like Grubhub or UberEats.

With food delivery gaining more and more popularity it seems like ghost kitchens are here to stay, but we at What Now Denver remain partial to the brick-and-mortar businesses livening our community.

I had the worst experience with their staff and the lack of expertise of service. I signed up in Nov. 2020 and took over 6 months for them to get my kitchen in operation. By that time I accumulating so much expenses it put me into a hole as a first time small business owner. If you are just starting out in food service. Do not use this company as you model. It is run by a the ex Uber CEO Travis Kalanick and is backed by Saudi blood money.
