The business will be located on the site of a former tire shop just south of Sloan’s Lake, which Newman purchased five years ago. There is a 1,200-square-foot property where the coffee shop will operate and a 0.22-acre parking lot for various food vendors.
There will be six rotating food trucks featured, and possibly an opportunity for permanent sites for the trucks in the future. The company’s website teases items like crepes, tacos, empanadas, nachos, loaded fries, and burgers.
Newman also told the Post he wants to build an outdoor area for the venue and get a liquor license. He has owned My Brother’s Bar since 2017 and Mercury Cafe since 2021.
