“Our business aims to offer a one-of-a-kind experience to pet owners, combining delicious food and drinks with a safe, fun and comfortable environment for their dogs. We believe that there is a significant untapped market of dog owners who crave a place where they can relax and enjoy time with their furry friends,” Layton Judd, co-owner, told What Now Denver.

The quick-service restaurant and bar will span more than 10,000 square feet. It will feature a pour-it-yourself tap wall, patio, off-leash area for doggies, and have a gourmet food truck on site, according to business plans submitted to the city.

Four-legged friends will be welcome to roam around and use water fountains and play equipment. There will also be dog waste stations to keep everything sanitary, and dog park attendants called “woofarees” to keep things safe.

Happy Dog Park & Taproom will offer yearly and monthly memberships, as well as the opportunity to buy a one-time visit pass for $15.
