Huckleberry Roasters has announced its sixth location, set to open in the heart of the Larimer Square historic district. Westword reports that the coffee company will open up shop in an old Starbucks space at 1406 Larimer St.

The property is undergoing some renovations, including a mural commissioned by artists Olive Moya and Rae World. It’s a spot with high visibility, in one of the city’s most visited retail areas.
A Denver-based coffee roaster and cafe, this is the latest expansion for Huckleberry. The company was founded in 2011 by Koan Goedman and Jason Farrar, starting out of the former’s garage and growing to now six units.
Larimer Square has been a part of Denver’s history since the 1800s. Its century-old buildings have been meticulously restored and preserved. Today, it hosts an eclectic mix of cafes, shops, galleries, and restaurants.
