Construction is underway for the new Mici Italian restaurant inside the former Smashburger spot at 2330 E. Arapahoe Rd., #909. This will be the first Mici Italian to debut the brand’s new look, complete with a new logo and revamped interior decor.

The restaurant will offer indoor and outdoor dining, dedicated pickup and delivery stations, and delivery and catering options. The menu focuses on authentic Italian family recipes using all-natural, unprocessed, clean ingredients and features made-to-order pastas, artisan pizzas, salads, and more.

“Southglenn has always been at the top of our list of markets here in Colorado into which we would like to expand. It is a growing, thriving community,” said Mici’s CEO Elliot Schiffer in a press release.

Mici Italian was founded by siblings Jeff, Kim, and Michael Miceli in 2004. The company launched its National Franchise program in 2019 and has more than 50 unit commitments in Arizona, Michigan, and Texas. The first franchise location will be in Phoenix and is scheduled to open this summer, as well.
