The building that housed Hot-Chick-A-Latte and happyfastdelicious is keeping with the tradition of being a coffee concept. Lilac Coffee Express is taking over the 4736 E Colfax Ave. property, owner Josiah Kim tells What Now Denver.
“We will be offering all the classic espresso-based drinks (latte, cappuccino, cortado, etc). We’re also working on a few specialty lattes like a Honey Lilac Latte,” he explains. “In addition, we’ll have really good teas, drip coffee, cold brew, and pastries. We’re also looking to add some good local breakfast burritos as well.”
The lease start date was January 1st, and Kim is working on obtaining permits for the site. Some construction/remodeling work is going on currently: painting, repairs, equipment installation.
Lilac Coffee Express has “state-of-the-art coffee equipment” for yummy drinks to be delivered in a fast timeframe for busy customers. The team has partnered to source beans from local company Corvus Coffee Roasters.
