Founder Amanda Tokarev told What Now Denver, “We want to create a space that is your ‘home away from home.’ Somewhere you can bring your laptop to work or study, catch up with friends on the weekend, or stop in on your way to the office or after the gym.”

The 1,010-square-foot space will have an espresso bar with seating, indoor tables, and a garage door that opens up to patio seating outside. Tokarev said she is working on construction documents for a full build-out of the empty shell space and expects to be open sometime in 2024.

Walnut Coffee House will have a coffee bar serving espresso, lattes, and cold brew on tap from Middle State Coffee Roasters beans. Specialty drinks like matcha and chai tea will also be available. The business will partner with the local community to offer fresh pastries and bagels, and will have house-made grab-and-go food like wraps, sandwiches, and paninis.
