New Mexico-based pizza chain Dion’s wants to build a restaurant in Green Valley Ranch, according to city records. The company filed a concept plan recently that shows it is eyeing the northeast corner of Yampa St. and Green Valley Ranch Blvd. for development.

Dion’s is seeking to construct a 4,550-square-foot property with a drive-thru and 39 parking spaces available. The company will be working with Ridgetop Engineering & Surveying, data shows.

The chain was founded in 1979 and has grown to dozens of locations across multiple states. Its menu consists of handmade pizzas, salad options, sandwiches, desserts, and drinks. Dion’s is also well known for its green chile ranch dressing and Greek dressing.

Green Valley Ranch has been undergoing a massive amount of development lately. Records from the US Census Bureau show a population of over 36,000, with a homebuilding growth rate of 16.4% year-over-over and increased access to the metro’s train system.
