As of now, no other word has been given as to an opening date or an estimated time of completion for the construction. What Now Denver reached out to the owner, Samir Elhayani, for further details, but has yet to hear back as of this writing.

What we do know, however, is that slices of pizza from Yani’s are huge. That’s according to their Facebook page, at least, which is currently the best place to go for information as we await official word and an official website.

The reviews for the pizza agree that it’s just as good as it looks.

According to the information tab on the Facebook page, the pizza — and the size of its slices — is inspired by New York City, which is one of the pizza capitals of the world (but don’t tell that to Chicago.)

While there doesn’t seem to be a very active social media following, the food truck has been serving slices since 2018. We’re sure as soon as the store opens up there will be a line around the block.
