Blue Tile Brewing, which previously set up shop on East 58th Avenue in Denver, will now be located in Englewood, according to owner Nick Crown. Unfortunately, Crown didn’t provide What Now Denver with an exact address or launch date. However, back in early May when he announced the temporary closure of Blue Tile Brewing, Crown predicted its Englewood location and an as-soon-as-possible opening date, so it seems the company is well on track.

Blue Tile Brewing started in 2018 when it took over Zephyr Brewing – “one of the first breweries to open in the River North Arts District.” Crown, who was a brewing assistant at the facility, quickly absorbed the lease and began planning his own venture, eventually opening up Blue Tile. That said, What Now Denver caught up with Crown to find out his pub plans and which beers can be expected come fall and winter:

WND: What’s your favorite beer Blue Tile offers?

Crown: Our favorite beers are Spud Light, which is an extra dry pilsner; it’s also our house beer.

The other is Pink Frost, which is an American wheat ale with passionfruit and pink Himalayan salt.

WND: Will Blue Tile serve food or collaborate with vendors and food trucks?

Crown: We are planning to open as a brewpub with a full bar and kitchen, though what we will serve is up in the air as we have a few competing concepts for the kitchen.

WND: What’s something unique that customers can expect from Blue Tile Brewing?

Crown: We want to continue [to offer] the feel of our original taproom and be a place that fits into the neighborhood we are in while focusing on our community.
