Entrepreneurs Pace Webb and Chris Georgalas opened the first Daddy’s Chicken Shack in California in 2018. Chef Webb handcrafts each menu item and blends her own Southern U.S. roots with tastes from Georgalas’ Japanese heritage.

Liniger told What Now Denver that he looked at over 200 franchises before deciding to add Daddy’s Chicken Shack to his portfolio. “I was just incredibly impressed with the founders,” Liniger said. “She’s really come up with some fabulous recipes.”

Liniger’s belief in Daddy’s Chicken Shack stems from several factors, with its signature chicken sandwiches at the top of the list. Daddy’s Chicken Shack serves double-battered, crispy chicken on sandwiches, as chicken strips, and in a variety of bowls. All of the chicken is hormone-free, antibiotic-free, and free range.

“She has this very large chicken sandwich that is pretty amazing, but she also has a three-pack of sliders, which is a much smaller version and easier to get it into your mouth,” Liniger shared.

The brand’s use of technology was also a plus for Liniger such as the restaurant’s online ordering, app engagement, in-store web-enabled tech, exclusive pick-up areas, and third-party delivery partnerships.

Liniger has established Area 15 Franchising, LLC, now part of Area 15 Ventures, to own and operate the restaurants, according to a press release. They will have three company-owned Daddy’s Chicken Shack locations, but they are also looking for franchisees.

Realtors are currently searching for spaces with drive-thru windows. “We’ll probably get something leased in the next three to four weeks and then it’s just the time of conversion, remodeling, and getting it open,” Liniger said.
