One Shot Back co-founders Jason Danielsen and Samantha Menendez have more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry. When the Pandemic hit, they saw the need for more golfing facilities in the area.

They came up with the idea to develop a concept to create a space with “a high-end atmosphere, cocktails, and top-of-the-line golf simulators by Trackman,” according to the One Shot Back Facebook page.

One Shot Back is more than just golf simulators. “We have an Instagram corner,” Menendez shared. “So there’s more stuff to do inside of it.”

Fun cocktails include one that is a play on a paper plane. The drink is featured in a martini glass with a gold rim, origami paper airplane, Bullet rye, Montenegro, and egg whites. “It makes it nice and frothy, and a really fun pink drink.” Another drink, the Frisbee Golf, features Tanqueray gin, sweet vermouth, prosecco, and more.

Food will be available. Menendez said they are in discussions with food trucks to serve from the space once One Shot Back opens, and catering companies can be brought in for private events. “We definitely are really excited to be opening, especially in that area.”

The downtown spot has been under construction prepping for the spring opening. One Shot Back is scheduled to open this April at 2134 Curtis St., Denver, CO 80205.
