The Monte Cervino Urban Winery is currently operating out of Boxing Brothers Ciderhouse on the east side of Colorado Springs at 4655 Town Center Drive. Boxing Brothers Ciderhouse first opened in 2016 and is known for its award-winning ciders.

According to the Monte Cervino website, the team known for the Boxing Brothers Ciderhouse brand began developing in-house wine blends before the COVID pandemic and first released the wines this past summer.

One of their most popular wines is Little Red, which is a dry-bodied table wine with “bold notes of blackberry and mocha.” Little Red’s name stems from a 1929 Ford Model A racing car, located at the current tasting room. The winery will feature new wine varieties when it opens next year.

The website states that Monte Cervino is dedicated to preserving automotive history and has donated to various organizations including the International Motor Racing Research Center and National Auto Sport Association.

There’s no word yet on a specific location for the new winery. Monte Cervino Beverage Company founder Matthew Bonno did not respond to What Now Denver’s request for information.
