Detroit-style pizza is expanding along Colorado with pizza brand Jet’s Pizza set to open two new locations in the state. This style of pizza is known for being rectangular with a thick crust that’s crispy on the outside but chewier on the inside, though Jet’s is known for serving other style of pizza such as thin crust and NY style too.

According to their official website, Jet’s Pizza plans to open the Boulder location on 1201 Arapahoe, off Broadway. The Denver location is set to come to 2306 S Colorado Blvd off E liff Ave and will be neighboring other businesses in the area such as Welshire Pizza, Dairy Queen, Kokoro and more.
“In 1978, Jet’s Pizza® founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over,” according to the official Jet’s Pizza website. Jetts ended up signing the lease of what would become Jet’s Pizza’s first official location instead. Now the brand has hundreds of locations all across the U.S.
Apart from pizza, Jet’s also serves “sidekicks” bread with toppings, fresh salads such as the antipasto salad and Greek salad, classic subs and sandwiches, and dessert such as chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and cinnamon stix. You can check out the rest of their menu here.
