If you’re looking for a healthy and tasty meal replacement or an afternoon pick-me-up, a new Blend Nutrition location planned for downtown Loveland will soon be the place to get one.
Loveland Blend Nutrition owner Heidi Allam said she and her husband worked at a Fort Collins location and decided to open a spot in Loveland. “A location opened up downtown, and we couldn’t say no to it,” Allam said. “It’s such a perfect location, and we just love this city so much.”
Blend Nutrition will offer a menu of protein coffees, shakes, and energy teas. “Our shakes are nutrient-dense, just high in good nutrition and can actually be a meal replacement.” The energy teas are a green and black tea mix with antioxidants providing energy without any crash. Collagen and other supplements can be added.
Some of the menu favorites are the peanut butter toffee, chocolate caramel cheesecake, and banana and caramel shakes. “They taste like your favorite ice cream, but they’re actually good for you,” Allam told What Now Denver.
Allam has owned similar shops in North Dakota and has worked in others for more than a decade. “We’re not just about serving up healthy food as far as the shakes and teas go. We’re really big into creating a community and just being a place where we know your name, and we get to know who you are,” she said.
“We really deliver good energy and positive vibes. People come in and they feel good for what they are putting into their body, but they also feel good because they are around good people.” They are still waiting on inspections but hope to open Blend Nutrition at 325 Cleveland Ave. in Loveland in April.
