A classic Italian restaurant bringing a Colorado-vibe with gondolas for dining will open in Littleton’s Ken Caryl neighborhood in mid-February. This location will be the third for Homegrown Tap & Dough. The restaurant first opened in Denver’s Washington Park neighborhood back in 2011 and added a second location in Olde Town Arvada in 2016.
“Littleton is such a vibrant community and it’s really on the rise right now, so we couldn’t be more excited to connect with and serve that community,” said Peter Newlin, Co-Founder of Homegrown Tap & Dough and CEO of Gastamo Group, creator of the restaurant and other well-known eateries such as Birdcall and Park Burger.
The new Littleton location will be the largest of the three with the addition of cozy, canvas yurts and multiple fireplaces.
The menu, developed by Gastamo Group and Homegrown Tap & Dough Co-Founder Jean-Philippe Failyau, draws on his experience cooking at Michelin-starred Italian restaurants.
Appetizers include Braised Tomato Meatballs, Chicken Parmesan Sliders, and wings. The menu features house-made specialty pasta dishes such Rigatoni Bolognese and hand-tossed wood-fired signature pizzas—the Homegrown, Weekend Warrior, and “Pete” Za. If you’re not in the mood for Italian, salads, sandwiches, and gourmet burgers are available.
A full wine list offers variety for diners, as well as an Italian-inspired cocktail menu that includes the Venetian Spritz, Mule Di Modena, Bellini Bellissimo, and Little Italy Manhattan. Homegrown Tap & Dough will feature a monthly rotating artisanal pizza and happy hour with $5 beer, wine, and snacks.
